    Malerbetriebe Hülsbusch joins Håndverksgruppen

Håndverksgruppen (HG) continues to grow in Germany: Malerbetriebe Hülsbusch GmbH & Co. KG from Münster, another long-established company, has joined the group. HG now unites over 160 larger craft companies in Scandinavia and Germany.

    - With Hülsbusch, we are now also represented in North Rhine-Westphalia. The company has decades of experience, outstanding expertise and offers a wide range of services – from classic painting and wallpapering work to flooring, concrete renovation and facade design. It therefore fits perfectly into our group, says Øyvind Emblem, CEO of Håndverksgruppen.

Malerbetriebe Hülsbusch can look back on almost 100 years of history: founded in 1930, the company is now run by the third generation of Jörg Hülsbusch and Andreas Franke. The team consists of 26 employees.

    - We are both over 55 years old and were looking for a long-term perspective for our employees. By joining HG, this perspective is secured - the company continues to develop in a stable manner and the jobs are retained, explains Andreas Franke.

A decisive factor for the two managing directors was that the operational business could continue as usual. HG favours partnership-based cooperation and self-determination.

    - That was very important to us – our company has a long history and has developed into a strong brand in the region. We wanted to ensure that the identity remains intact, explains Jörg Hülsbusch.

Hülsbusch was already very active in regional networks in the past. As part of Håndverksgruppen, there are now additional opportunities - such as joint participation in tenders, staff shortages or sales partnerships for larger or supra-regional projects.

Since entering the German market in 2023, HG has quickly established itself and already achieved total revenue of almost €15 million. With Hülsbusch, the company has taken another important step in its expansion.

    - We have proven that our successful business model in Scandinavia also works internationally. We see enormous potential in the German market in particular. Our goal is to establish HG as a leading provider in the surface treatment sector, says CEO Øyvind Emblem.
