    Håndverksgruppen welcomes Niklas Almqvist as Regional Manager for HG Denmark East

    Håndverksgruppen announces Niklas Almqvist as Regional Manager for HG Denmark East. He will play a key role in strengthening the group’s local companies in eastern Denmark, helping them optimize operations, develop management and organizational structures, drive succession planning, and implement HG standards.

    At the same time, he will help drive collaboration between companies and ensure that best practices are shared across the companies, fostering a strong culture in the region.

    – I look forward to working closely with the companies in the East and contributing to both their strategic development and daily operations. My ambition is to continue building strong teams, increase efficiency, and drive sustained growth in the region, says Niklas Almqvist.

    Supporting company development and a strong network

    According to Managing Director of HG Denmark, Frederik Stage Olsen, the country’s expansion to over 30 companies nationwide makes it essential for the organization to have strong management resources to develop its operations in eastern Denmark.

    – Niklas’ broad experience in strategic leadership, organizational development, and growth within both the construction and retail sectors will provide valuable support for our leaders and employees. Just as importantly, he will play a key role in best practice sharing and the continued development of a strong network across the companies – helping them continue to grow, achieve their ambitions, and build on the strong culture in the region, says Frederik Stage Olsen.

    Over 25 years of experience in sales, management and team development

    Niklas Almqvist brings over 25 years of experience as a sales and business manager from both B2B and B2C markets in Sweden and Denmark, including at AkzoNobel/Nordsjö, Flügger, Sanistål, and Stadium. He has solid experience in building and developing organizations and teams, creating growth and market share, and driving efficiency through modern sales strategies and digitalization.

    Niklas will officially take up his position on October 1, 2025, and will be based at HG Denmark's service office in Copenhagen.
