LME A/S from Aarhus joins Håndverksgruppen as its first major masonry company in Denmark, strengthening the group’s position both geographically and in terms of expertise.

The company carries out a wide range of masonry and concrete works, primarily for the commercial sector, public institutions and housing associations, with a strong focus on renovation projects – including façade renovation, tiling, and concrete refurbishment. Projects are often delivered as main or large-scale contracts involving multiple trades.

With a team of 39 employees, LME A/S has over the years built long-standing customer relationships based on trust and strong local roots.

### **A natural next step for LME A/S**

For General Manager Thomas H. Nielsen, who took over the company from his father in 2015, joining Håndverksgruppen represents a natural next step:

– By becoming part of a larger network, we gain the opportunity to develop alongside other like-minded companies. This close and supportive community is something I have been missing and see as the natural next step for us. I look forward to strengthening LME A/S through collaboration, knowledge sharing and the development opportunities offered by HG – while retaining our identity and local strengths, says Thomas H. Nielsen.

As part of Håndverksgruppen, LME A/S gains access to a range of benefits – including joint purchasing agreements, resources for talent and competence development, digitalisation and process optimisation, as well as opportunities for collaboration and knowledge exchange with the other group companies.

### **An important strategic milestone for HG Denmark**

For Frederik Stage Olsen, Managing Director of HG Denmark, the inclusion of LME A/S is an important strategic reinforcement:

– Håndverksgruppen is now making a significant entry into the Danish masonry sector with a company that brings strong capabilities, solid experience and the capacity to handle large-scale projects. This enables us as a group to offer broader solutions, take on more and larger assignments, and leverage synergies across disciplines, says Frederik Stage Olsen.
