Jonas Parkvall (47) has been appointed as the new Managing Director for Håndverksgruppen in Sweden. He joins us from Compass Group, where he was Operations Director, and will formally take up his new position on March 1.

Sweden is one of our most important markets, and with Jonas' extensive management experience in the service sector, most recently in a key management role at Compass Group, we are confident that he is the right person to lead and further develop our Swedish operations. His background will be a great asset in our efforts to strengthen our position and continue our growth, says Øyvind Emblem, CEO of Håndverksgruppen.
Jonas has a degree in business administration and has held senior positions in service-oriented companies for the past 20 years. In addition to his commercial background, Jonas has held operational roles with extensive management responsibility for many employees who share a common motivation to do a good job for their customers. He is originally from Umeå, but currently lives outside Stockholm.

When Jonas is not at work, you will often find him on his bike – either in the forest or on the road. He also enjoys traveling and experiencing new places, and at home he likes to take on projects – the latest being the construction of a sauna.
Jonas Parkvall will start at Håndverksgruppen on January 19 and will formally take over responsibility for the Swedish business from March 1.
