Håndverksgruppen strengthens its presence in Germany by incorporating the renowned painting company Beck GmbH (Beck GmbH farbrat).

 - We have extensive plans for Germany and are thrilled to enhance our collective strength by welcoming the recognized Beck GmbH farbrat to our group, says Øyvind Emblem, CEO of Håndverksgruppen.

Earlier this year, Håndverksgruppen entered the German market by including Hans Übelacker in Munich. Now, with the addition of Beck GmbH farbrat based in the Stuttgart region, Håndverksgruppen completes a major move with the group's strategic initiative in Germany.

 - We are continuing Håndverksgruppen's growth strategy in one of Europe's largest markets. With Beck GmbH farbrat's expertise and track record in painting and surface treatment, we are reinforcing our presence and continuing to evolve our business based on our unique Scandinavian model, explains Emblem.

- Beck GmbH farbrat is a well-operated and robust family business with a dedication to craftsmanship and quality that aligns perfectly with our profile. They have an impressive expertise on painting techniques and a wide array of projects that include both new builds and renovations, which will be helpful in fortifying Håndverksgruppen's German establishment while also strengthening the group as a whole, says Emblem.

Håndverksgruppen has a total turnover of over 6.5 billion Norwegian kroner and employs more than 4,200 craftspeople across Norway, Sweden, Denmark, and Germany.

Solid position in the high-end segment

Beck GmbH farbrat has roots back to 1964 and provides painting and surface services with a strong presence throughout the Stuttgart area. The company has a solid position in the high-end segment and focuses particularly on the private sector, accounting for approximately 50-70% of the total revenues.

- My goal has always been to develop BECK GmbH farbrat into a solid company with a positive outlook. I am looking forward to both developing ourselves and our employees without losing our original DNA, while at the same time have the opportunity to work with HG and its craft businesses, says Wolfram Beck.

The company has secured a strong order backlog for 2024, demonstrating their sustained market presence. Wolfram Beck will continue to play a key role in driving Beck GmbH forward within Håndverksgruppen.

- We look forward to a successful collaboration in the future, from which both our range of services and our customers will benefit. Beck GmbH farbrat is definitely oset up for further success within the Håndverksgruppen family, underlined Wolfram Beck.
